Long Di, a native of Chongqing, now lives in Beijing. Her work is a foreshadowing and reflection on gender relations and female identity, as well as a dissection of being human in the current historical moment. In the past four years, in addition to three solo exhibitions in China and participation in group exhibitions.

To her, the rabbit is one of the most spiritual, vivid, and approachable animals in the 12 zodiac signs. For this Year of the Rabbit collaboration with Shanghai Tang, she also drew inspiration from the richness of the rabbit in Chinese traditional culture and art.

Long Di created three limited quantity oil paintings, which have the auspicious symbolism of the rabbit in Chinese culture, as well as the humorous and relaxed meaning of contemporary paintings.

The white, pink, and gold rabbits each symbolize good health and longevity, the magician-like transformation into a loving heart full of love, and the congratulation of wealth with a golden treasure.
