What welcomed us was a spectacular sight — a blanket of purple and yellow chrysanthemums cascading over the mountainside that towered into the clouds...
The herbal, earthy, elegant scent of chrysanthemums, the crisp tingle of the autumn breeze, the aromatic spices wafting out from the village was captured in the moment and distilled into Shanghai Tang's charming new fragrance — Chrysanthemum.
THE SCENT
Warm and autumnal, Shanghai Tang’s Chrysanthemum fragrance is a floral, aromatic bouquet stippled with spicy accords sure to delight those with a taste for oriental scents.
It opens with citrusy and leafy top notes of bergamot and eucalyptus with a dash of pepper, revolving around a heart of iris powder, chrysanthemum and sharp balsamic-spicy notes from elemi. A woody base of fir balsam, cedarwood and patchouli gives this therapeutic fragrance a grounded finale.
